8. "Watch this Deal" with the Amazon App
Keep track of deals that you’re interested in by clicking on "Watch this Deal" to save it to your Watching list. Next, download the Amazon Appand you’ll be notified on your app when the deal is about to start. If you're using an iPhone and would like to receive notifications when a deal you are watching is about to start, go to "Settings", select the Amazon app, then "Notifications, and "Allow Notifications".
9. Use price trackers to make sure that you’re not paying too much
It's easy to use price tracker extensions, apps or websites to save money on Amazon. CamelCamelCamel is a popular price tracker and one that I use all the time. It shows you the price history of an item so that you can decide if it’s a good time to buy or not. Create an account and set up price drop alerts via either email or Twitter.

11. Buy used and refurbished items for a lot less money
Amazon is becoming a great place to buy used items. Products in many categories may offer items in conditions other than new: Refurbished, Used - Like New, Used - Very Good, Used - Acceptable. Refurbished items are guaranteed by Amazon to look and work like new. They have a minimum 90 day limited warranty. The Shop for Certified Refurbished on Amazon page is organized by category. 12. Your money will go further with Amazon Coins
Amazon has its own digital currency that allows you to buy Android apps, games, and in-game items for less. The more Amazon Coins you buy, the greater the discount. 13. Use Voice Shopping to get special deals
If you use Amazon’s Echo or Echo Dot (aka "Alexa") and you are a Prime member then you have access to special deals through Alexa Voice Shopping. First, enable Voice Shopping on your Alexa app under Settings. Then you can ask "Alexa, what are your deals". Alexa will describe a deal and then ask if you want to buy it. Alternatively, you can view Alexa’s Exclusive Deals on the website and then give Alexa the command that corresponds with the deal. Again, you must enable Voice Shopping on your Alexa app first. Make sure 1-click ordering is enabled too.
14. Get cash back from your Amazon purchases
Amazon gives cash back on purchases through websites like Ebates, BeFrugal, FatWallet, TopCashBack and Mr. Rebates. Cash back is not available for all of the shopping categories.
15. Get rewards when you opt for no-rush shipping
Prime Members can choose no-rush shipping on Prime items and get shopping credits. For every order where you select No-Rush Shipping you’ll receive a promotional credit that will be automatically applied to your account once the package ships. This promotional credit applies only to the type of items indicated in the offer at checkout. It does expire. So far I’ve seen rewards ranging from $1-$5. Shop at Amazon Warehouse and get deals on open-box and pre-owned products. These items are fulfilled by Amazon and have a 30 day money-back guarantee.

Amazon Outlet has low prices on markdowns, clearance items, overstocks, and more.
18. Add-ons are another way to get free shipping
The Add-On Program allows Amazon to offer thousands of items at a low price point that would be cost-prohibitive to ship on their own. Look for the little blue Add-On Item logo while shopping on Amazon. Add-on items must be part of an order containing $25 of items shipped by Amazon.com (inclusive of the Add-on items and including items sold by other sellers that are shipped by Amazon). Your order can include a mix of Add-on items and other items shipped by Amazon, or be entirely made up of Add-on items.
